Technology, AI & Transformation
My engagement with technology and AI is grounded in practice rather than theory. In addition to board-level oversight and venture-building, I actively use AI across my own work—particularly in research, synthesis, and content creation—treating it as a thinking partner rather than a production shortcut. This hands-on experience shapes how I view AI not simply as a tool, but as a force that reshapes decision-making, organisational design, and governance. My focus is on how leaders and boards can adopt technology thoughtfully, balancing innovation with accountability and long-term impact.

How I Engage with AI
I engage with AI through board work, venture-building, and my own writing and content creation. Using AI as a research and synthesis partner informs how I think about its impact on judgment, communication, and governance.

Cross-Regional Perspectives
My perspective has been shaped by over three decades of leadership experience in Greater China and the Asia–Pacific region, across periods of growth, volatility, and structural change. Working through multiple economic cycles has informed how I assess risk, timing, and organisational resilience. Now based in the UK, I approach leadership and governance through a cross-regional lens shaped by different institutional and cultural contexts.
* To complement hands-on practice and board-level engagement, I have undertaken executive education focused on the strategic, organisational, and governance implications of AI and emerging technologies with London Business School & Cambridge Judge Business School
